Wedding rings stolen

WEDDING and engagement rings have been stolen during a house burglary in Cowfold Road, Coolham.

The break-in took place some time between Wednesday 1 and Wednesday February 8.

Jewellery with a ‘great sentimental value’ including a distinctive yellow gold wedding band with ‘Bryon 1974’ inscribed on the inside was among the items snatched.

A yellow gold engagement ring with sapphires and diamonds in a line along the top, and a sapphire and diamond eternity ring in yellow gold were also taken.

Detective Constable Laura Sinden said; “These items clearly have great sentimental value and the public and jewellers are being asked to keep an eye out for them and contact the police if they are seen or have any information about them.
