Van and motorbike stolen as thieves target Horsham district

A blue Vauxhall van containing a race motorbike was stolen in Billingshurst earlier this month.

The theft is believed to have occurred between 6pm on Friday December 5 and 8am the following morning.

The van and motorbike were stolen from outside an address in Station Road, police said.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting serial 0359 of 06/12.

Items including a petrol strimmer, drill set and a bottle of champagne were stolen following a break-in at a garage in Woodlands Road, Southwater.

The garage was broken into between 9.30pm on Thursday December 4 and 10am the next day, and a timer for Christmas lights outside the house was ripped out of the wall.

Police said two females stole £200 of spirits from Waitrose in Piries Place, Horsham at 2.15pm on Wednesday December 10.

Two vehicles were broken into in separate incidents in Billingshurst between Thursday December 10 and Friday December 12.

A vehicle was broken into in Station Road between 5.10pm and 8am.

The ignition lock was stolen and a crow bar was left on the back seat. Witnesses can contact police quoting serial 0204 of 11/12.

A car was broken into via the driver’s door in Chesnut Road between 2pm on December 10 and 1.45pm on December 11. A hacksaw blade was found in the driver’s door. Anyone with information can call 101 quoting serial 1315 of 11/12.

Hub caps were stolen from a Renault van overnight between 11pm on Thursday December 4 and 6am on Friday December 5 in Bishopric, Horsham.
