An 82-year-old Horsham man has returned home safe and well after he was reported missing yesterday (Tuesday September 11).
A helicopter was launched after Ronald Jarman was reported missing from Waitrose in the town centre at around 2.50pm yesterday.
He left the store at around 11.20am stating he was going home but did not returned. The helicopter was spotted circling Horsham just after 4.15pm as police became increasingly concerned for his welfare.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Police have confirmed that Ronald Jarman, 82, who was reported missing in Horsham yesterday returned home safe and well last night.
“Officers thank people for their support in the earlier appeal.”
