Two shops and an office have been targeted by thieves in the past week.
Sussex Police say that on Saturday, October 22, a man threw a brick, smashing the window of a shop in North Street, Horsham, at around 5.30pm.
He put his hand through and tried to open the latch, but after realising someone was still inside cashing up he ran off.
Meanwhile, in Billingshurst on Monday two men entered a shop while staff were cashing up.
One acted as a distraction while the other took around £350 from the till.
On Thursday (October 27) offenders with their face covered forced their way into an office in Station Road, Horsham, at around 10.30pm.
Around £1,500 in cash was stolen along with electronic items.
