Teens arrested after badges stolen from cars in Roffey

Two teenagers have been arrested after vehicle badges and a number plate were stolen from cars in Roffey on Monday (May 25).

Police said a group of young people were reported to be kicking wing mirrors on cars in Manor Fields just before midnight.

The group could not be located when officers attended and no damage was found at the time.

Police later received a report that cars in Rowlands Road had been damaged, and a group of seven people were found, police said.

Two people, a 16-year-old girl from a Horsham and a 16-year-old boy, have been arrested. Both have been bailed while further enquiries are carried out.

Police are appealing for anyone whose vehicle was damaged to contact them on 101 quoting serial 22 of 26/05.
