Power tools targeted in two Storrington vehicle break-ins

Power tools including angle grinders and battery chargers were stolen from vehicles in separate break-ins in Storrington last week.

Overnight from Monday July 7 into Tuesday July 8, two vehicles were broken into in Meadowside, one in Oak End and one in Banks Croft.

Carol Boniface, PCSO for the area, said: “If you saw or heard anything which you think may help then please call 101.

“Please do not leave any valuable items in your vehicles overnight and keep an eye on them during the day.

“Make sure you have a note of the serial numbers of any power tools or other equipment that you have and note any identifying features.

“Taking a photo of the item also helps us should we recover any stolen items.

“Please report any incidents to us on 101 or 999 if you see a vehicle break in progress.”
