Police target driving offences in Horsham

Penalty tickets were issued to a number of drivers over vehicle offences in Horsham town centre on Tuesday November 24.

Officers from the Sussex West Roads Policing Unit and Horsham police located in Albion Way and Worthing Road stopped motorists as part of Operation Vanquish.

Six tickets were issued for seat belt offences and four drivers were stopped for having defective tyres on their vehicles.

Other offences on the day were mobile phone offences, not having an MOT, having a misrepresented number plate and having illegally tinted windows.
