The house in Pondtail Park was broken into during daylight hours on Thursday May 8, and gold bracelets, pendants, lockets, earrings and necklaces were stolen.

Detective constable Karen Young said: “The house was empty between 8am and 4.30pm and we would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area in that time and especially anybody who recognises the man in our efit picture.

“He was seen in the area two days earlier on Tuesday May 6.
