Police name man after fatal collision involving Wisborough Green driver

Police have named the Midhurst man who died after a collision with a car driven by a man from Wisborough Green last week.

Stephen Crouch, 60, of Well Lane, was walking with two dogs at the junction of the A286 and Oaklands Lane, just south of Midhurst, when the collision happened at 5.30pm on Saturday February 7, police said.

The driver of the blue Peugeot 307, a 25-year-old man from Wisborough Green, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has been released on bail until 19 April while enquiries continue.
