Police investigating burglary at Horsham nursery

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said officers were called to Kookaburra Playgroup, Hills Farm Lane, to reports of a break-in on Thursday, July 23, between 7.50pm and 8.03pm.

She added: “Garden equipment was taken from an outbuilding at the premises and while some items were recovered nearby, a strimmer was stolen.”

The investigation is ongoing and officers continue to follow a number of lines of enquiry, the spokeswoman said.

She added: “Anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time, or who has any other information about the burglary, is asked to contact police online or call 101 quoting serial 1344 of 23/07.

“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
