Police bust Billingshurst cannabis factory and discover stolen motorcycles

A cannabis factory containing about 34 plants has been discovered in Billingshurst, Horsham police have confirmed.

Police uncovered the drugs in a hydroponics set up from a workshop premises in Marringdean Road yesterday (Tuesday May 27).

Two stolen motorcycles were also recovered from the premises, a Sussex Police spokesperson added.

A 28-year-old man from Billingshurst was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

He was further arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis.

He was bailed until July 26.
