Police officers have released efits of men wanted after a series of burglaries across West Sussex including Horsham and Southwater.
Between June 21 and July 8 six homes in Southwater, Horsham and Crawley were broken into during the daytime.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Between 10am and 2.30pm on Friday June 21 entry was forced at the rear of a house in Cedar Drive, Southwater. £1,000 cash and £3,000 worth of jewellery were stolen.
“Between 8am and 2.30pm on Thursday July 4 a house in Keats Close, Horsham, was entered via a rear door. Jewellery valued at £100 was stolen.
“Between 8.45am and 1pm on the same day a house in Heath Way, Horsham, was entered by the smashing of glass in a rear door. Several thousand pounds of jewellery were stolen.”
Detective Constable Dave Wadley said: “Each of these homes was targeted at a similar time of day and in a similar way so we believe the same group of thieves are involved.
“We need people to come forward if they recognise any of the men in the efits or know anything that might help with the investigation, no matter how minor they might think it to be.
“If you see people acting suspiciously in your community dial 999. We would rather be called out to something that turns out to be innocent than not to be contacted about something that turns out to be serious.”
