Man in hospital after Bolney crash

A VAN crashed into the central reservation of the A23 at Bolney this morning.

Police were called to the scene at around 6am to find the LDV Panel van in the third lane of the southbound carriageway.

A 25-year-old driver from Peacehaven was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, with what are believed to be minor injuries.

The lane was temporarily closed while emergency services rescued the driver and the Highways Agency cleared debris to make the road safe.

No other vehicles were involved.
