Man arrested after spate of thefts in Rudgwick

A man has been arrested after a series of thefts from vehicles in the Rudgwick area earlier this month.

Cars were broken into overnight between February 6 and February 7, a spokesperson for Horsham police said.

On Sunday February 22, police arrested a 28-year-old man from Brighton on suspicion of theft. He is on police bail while the investigation continues.

Sergeant Victoria Tomlinson of Horsham police said: “Local officers have been conducting a full and thorough investigation into these offences which has led to this positive arrest.

“The investigation is ongoing and we hope to achieve a positive result for the victims in due course.”
