Horsham man charged with raping woman in Crawley

A man from Horsham has been charged with raping a woman in Crawley and will appear in court this morning (Thursday March 3).

Craig Line, 21, of South Holmes Road, has been charged with two counts of rape, one of attempted rape and one of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH).

Sussex Police said a 26-year-old woman was punched and then raped between 1.30am and 3am in Goffs Park on Saturday (February 27).

Line will appear before Crawley Magistrates’ Court this morning.
