Fire in Horsham being treated as arson

A fire in Horsham is being treated as arson, the fire service has said.

Crews were called to the fire in Hurst Road at 6.15am this morning, near to North Parade.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire involved a top of a fence, it is being treated as deliberate ignition and has been passed to the police.”

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “At 6.26am on Friday (March 2), we were further notified of a small fire on a fence in Hurst Road, Horsham, near North Parade. No one was hurt and no further action was taken.”
