Diamond-encrusted brooch among valuable jewellery stolen in Loxwood burglary

A number of valuable and unique items of jewellery have been stolen during a burglary in Loxwood.

Two men were seen to enter a property on Guildford Road at shortly after 11am on Thursday, May 28, police said.

The owners of the property were not present at the time, but it was later discovered a number of items of jewellery were missing.

Police said: “Some of the items were very unique, including a distinctive white gold 1920s Halley’s Comet brooch with sapphires and diamonds.”

Officers investigating the burglary are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the pieces of jewellery pictured.

Anyone who does, or anyone who has any information about the burglary, should contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 545 of 28/05.
