A village nursery in Cowfold is set to invest in its outdoor play area and garden after receiving a donation from Horsham police.

Country Mice Nursery School has received £200 from the police property act fund, and the money will be used on works to prevent the outdoor area flooding.

PC Darren Algar said: “I am really pleased that the PPAF donation could be made to the local nursery school in Cowfold.

“The funding will mean that the children can enjoy playing outside and make use of such a valuable space.”

PC Algar is pictured handing the cheque to nursery head Kerry Bentley.
