The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Kai Brolin, 24, of Cross Road, Croydon, was banned from driving for a year, with a £240 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and driving without a licence in Horsham, and to failing to provide a specimen for alcohol analysis, and admitted breaching a conditional discharge.

Henry Fentiman, 26, of South Holmes Road, Horsham, was given a community order with six months of alcohol treatment, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Horsham, and admitted breaching a conditional discharge. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the victim.

Jamie Russell, 24, of The Bricky, Peacehaven, was given an 18 month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis in Horsham, and to using racially aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Lawrence Crosbie, 54, of Goring Road, Steyning, was fined £90, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause fear of violence in Horsham, and to using racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause fear of violence in Crawley.

Michael Drea, 51, of Jeremys Lane, Bolney, was banned from driving for 18 months, with a £690 fine, a £69 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath alcohol specimen.

Kevin Hammond, 56, of Church Lane, Upper Beeding, was banned from driving for 20 months, with a £120 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Albourne.

Scott Noble, 46, of East Street, Horsham, was given a six week jail sentence, suspended for a year, with an £80 victim surcharge, £300 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a bladed article, making a threat to kill, and harassment, all in Horsham. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the harassment victim.

Robert Stones, 51, of Swallowtail Road, Horsham, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Horsham.

Jake Rose-Witter, 22, of Foxgrove Road, Beckenham, was fined £115, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving with an illegally worn tyre at Hickstead.

Nicholas Taylor, 56, of Shelley Road, Worthing, was given a two year conditional discharge, with a £280 fine, a £28 victim surcharge, and £1,000 costs. He had been found guilty of common assault and resisting a police officer, both in Horsham.
