Copsale man jailed after Horsham cyclist died in crash

A 27-year-old man from Copsale has been jailed for 14 months following a crash in which a Horsham cyclist died last year.

Zija Lushi, also known as Luigi Dannile, of Broadwater Lane, was found not guilty of causing death by dangerous driving.

However, a jury at Hove Crown Court found him guilty of causing death by careless driving this morning (Monday June 1).

He had previously pleaded guilty to causing death by driving while unlicensed, disqualified or uninsured.

Cyclist Mike Dixon, 65, of Trundle Mead, died after the collision with a silver Citroen in Kerves Lane, Horsham, on Monday December 8.
