Ninety grams of cocaine were found in three parcels in woodland near Storrington after police dogs searched the area.
Police said a suspicious package of white powder wrapped in cellophane was found by a member of the public at around 7.10pm on Wednesday July 29, as they walked in Sullington Warren.
After an extensive search of the area, two more parcels were found hidden in a tree stump.
Field tests confirmed the substance was the Class A drug, Sussex Police said.
PCSO Carol Boniface said: “We are keen to speak to anyone with information about drug supply or possession.
“You can get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 101 quoting reference 1386 of 28/07.”
