Burglars break into homes in Chanctonbury and Billingshurst


Houses in Chanctonbury and Billingshurst were targeted by burglars on Friday (February 6).

Jewellery was taken when a home in Coneyhurst Road, Billingshurst, was broken into between 12pm and 6.35pm.

Offenders entered the home by forcing open a window at the side of the property.

On the same day, between 9am and 4.45pm, burglars smashed a back door window with a large stone in order to gain access to a property in Chanctonbury.

It is unclear if any items were taken. Contact police quoting CAD 1274 of 06/02/15.

Thieves attempted to break in to a home in Wallis Way, Horsham, at some point in the last two weeks, police said.

Marks believed to have been made by a tool such as a chisel were found on the rear door of the property.
