BREAKING NEWS: Surrey policeman given points on licence and fined after Warnham crash leaves woman with serious injuries

A police officer has been handed five points on his driving licence and fined £912 after he was involved in a crash in Warnham which left a woman with serious injuries.

The PC, who is based at Surrey Police Headquarters in Guildford, had previously pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention before he appeared at Horsham Magistrates’ Court today (Monday May 19).

The 34-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following the incident last year.
