Bomb disposal unit called to Horsham after business receives ‘suspicious letter’
A bomb disposal unit was called to Horsham after a suspicious letter was sent to a business this morning (Monday December 23), say Sussex Police
Emergency services were called to a premises at the Chartwell Business Centre in Chartwell Road at around 10.30am.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “There was concern that the letter might contain explosive materials and so a bomb disposal unit was asked to assist.
“The letter’s contents proved to be harmless but police are now investigating the incident as a bomb hoax.”
