Bolney burglarly victims ‘devastated’

BURGLARS ‘ransacked’ a home in Bolney stealing jewellery and family heirlooms on Friday September 30.

The intruders took out the entire kitchen window before stealing from several rooms at the house in Broxmead Lane.

Items snatched include a silver hinged engraved bangle with a buckle clasp and a solid silver charm bracelet with a number of distinctive charms.

Police say ‘a dark silver old style vehicle was seen parked in the road at 1pm’.

Detective Constable John Hord said: “This burglary has devastated the occupants and a number of the items stolen were of great personal value.

“I would appeal for anybody who has been offered these items for sale or who knows anything about this burglary to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1524 of 30/09.”
