Attempted burglary in Storrington
POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an attempted burglary at a home in Brackens Lane, Storrington.
A window was smashed sometime between Wednesday December 21 and Tuesday December 27 while the owners were away. Detective Constable Sarah-Jane Neal of West Sussex CID said: “Thankfully it appears that whoever broke the window did not go into the house and nothing was stolen.
“We are particularly appealing for witnesses to contact police who may have seen a dark blue people carrier-style vehicle in the area on Tuesday December 27 or anyone who saw anything suspicious between December 21 and December 27.”
