Attempted break-in at Pulborough RSPB nature reserve

Police are appealing for witnesses after would-be thieves tried to break into a tractor shed at the RSPB Nature Reserve, Upperton Barn Visitor’s Centre, in Wiggonholt, Pulborough.

At around 7.20pm last Thursday January 10, the on-site CCTV was activated and showed two youths and an older man trying to break into the shed.

PC Colin Parker, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Fortunately, the offenders didn’t manage to get inside as it appears they were spooked when they spotted the infra red on the camera.

“We would encourage anyone with information to call 101 quoting 0596 of 10/01 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 as we are keen to trace all those involved.”
