13-year-old girl arrested after Horsham tree incident

Two men and a girl were arrested in Horsham this morning (Tuesday May 28) after being challenged about cutting down trees in a woman’s garden. Police were called to Woodlands Way in Southwater at 11.21am following a report of an assault on the woman’s son.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “A 50-year-old man from Horsham was arrested on suspicion of a Section 4 public order offence, a 41-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of ABH and a 13-year-old girl from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of common assault.

“All were in custody at Crawley on Tuesday afternoon.”
