Little Manor Service Station of High Street, Cranleigh actively supports a number of charities and is holding a takeaway Macmillan Coffee Morning for the morning of Friday 25 September.
Bob Melvin, General Manager, explained: “We don’t have space for a sit down break but many of our customers who buy our freshly ground coffee drinks to take away also buy snacks. The chance of a freshly baked cake has to be quite a temptation.”
The staff have all got behind the event producing a range of homemade cakes with all proceeds from the baking and coffee for the day going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Business Proprietor, Anna Lambert, was delighted when the team proposed their involvement: “We enjoy being a part of the Cranleigh community and this sort of event gives us a chance involve staff and customers more directly.”
