Great news for the College of Richard Collyer, as the council approved plans to extend the sixth form. Sport England had objected to the proposal, saying that the new buildings might encroach upon the playing fields at the Hurst Road college. Principal Jackie Johnston said the nearby football pitch would not be affected.
