COUNTY NEWS: Police swoop in ‘drugs related’ incident

POLICE have swooped on a van sales showroom close to Rogate where a cannabis factory is believed to have been discovered.

The showrooms on the A272 between Petersfield and Midhurst at Durleigh Marsh have been blocked off and several police vehicles are currently at the scene where officers are carrying out an investigation.

A police spokesman said it was too early to comment but officers were carrying out a ‘drugs related’ inquiry.

It is believed there has so far been one arrest.

More details will be issued later today.
