Fancy yourself as the Alan Sugar of Sussex and Surrey? Think you could turn a £50 note into hundreds or even thousands of pounds to support locally bereaved children?
Winston’s Wish is looking for individuals, local businesses and schools in Sussex and Surrey to take on the EweMove.com £50 Charity Challenge and raise vital funds for its work with bereaved children, young people and their families.
How the challenge works:
It’s easy –You, your company or school will be given a £50 note and you have 12 weeks from Monday 14th April to grow it into as much money as you can for Winston’s Wish.
Then the rest is up to you. The possibilities are endless and the more original and innovative the idea the better. Prizes will be presented for all of your hard work - could you be a top fundraiser, have the most innovative idea or be one of our best junior participants?
A few fundraising ideas are listed below to help get you started:
- Secure a place in a local run/challenge and get sponsored.
- Dress your boss/teacher in a silly outfit and ask customers/parents to sponsor them.
- Spend £50 on baked beans and bathe in them for donations.
The challenge really will be a fun and easy way to raise money, establish connections in your community and support a great local cause. All that is asked is that at the end of the 12 weeks no matter how much money you raise, you return the £50.
With your support Winston’s Wish can help bereaved children and young people to tackle their fears of an uncertain future as they learn to live with their grief.
