An official Olympic shirt signed by all the members of the British Water Polo Team is on offer in a competition run by two local charities.
The original Olympic issue sports shirt donated by the British Water Polo Team’s manager Joanna Wray is a first edition prize as Britain will boast a first-ever Team GB women’s water polo team at the Olympics this year.
Careful Hands and Music for the Memory - charities offering day care for people with dementia in Sussex - have teamed up to offer this free prize draw.
The draw will be on August 23 at The clubs’ complimentary Carers Information and Entertainment day at St John’s Community Hall Broadbridge Heath.
The day will include entertainment for those living with memory problems or a dementia including the dancing dogs, Clever Cavaliers.
Speakers will include a representative of WSCC Prevention Assessment Team and Liz Catchpole from the Carers Support Service Charity.
Careful Hands Dementia Day Clubs were launched in December 2009 and the Music for the Memory Club in June 2011.
Both clubs are proud of the quality care and stimulating activities they provide.
Lyn Coleman, director of Careful Hands Ltd, said: “Relatives report that we achieve our aim of improving quality of life for their loved one and that this crucial respite time gives them a vital opportunity to re-charge their batteries.”
