GOODWILL and celebrity glamour will set the tone on Sunday November 6, when BBC Children’s TV presenter Dave Benson Phillips and mascot Pudsey Bear, arrive in Horsham town centre to raise money for Children In Need.

To mark the occasion the bandstand in the Carfax will be home to life-sized mascots participating in numerous dance and song performances, including a routine by local dance group, ‘Fi Steps’.

All activities will be filmed by the BBC and led by TV presenter, Mr Phillips.

Many local primary schools are attending the event to show their support and it is hoped that many families will also enjoy and participate in the children’s entertainment.

To keep Pudsey company, mascots including Horsham Football Club’s Howie the Hornet and The Children’s Trust, Tadworth the Hound, will be there.

Local businesses are invited to show their charitable side and donate money to the event. By raising funds, a company’s logo will be added to a single, large cheque and given to Pudsey on the day to showcase.

The event is sponsored by Horsham District Council and Horsham Rotary Club. To help raise money on the day contact Garry Mortimer-Cook on 01403 215386 or email
