Candidates announced for Warnham and Rusper county by-election

The five candidates for the Warnham and Rusper county by-election were announced today (Friday September 27).

Former leader of Horsham District Council Liz Kitchen will stand for the Conservatives, Darrin Green will stand for the Green Party, Carol Hayton will represent the Labour Party, Tony Millson for the Liberal Democrats, and Geoff Stevens for UKIP.

The by-election was called after Mick Hodgson died after a short battle with cancer earlier this year and will be held on Thursday October 24.

The deadline for receipt of postal vote applications is 5pm on Wednesday October 9.

The deadline for receipt of proxy vote applications is 5pm on Wednesday October 16.
