Campaign to preserve and repair First World War memorials across Sussex

The Sussex Associations of Local Councils and Sussex Heritage Trust, have embarked on the campaign, in association with the War Memorials Trust.

The first stage is to invite town and parish councils to register their interest to [email protected] [email protected] and, with the aid of photographs give an indication of the condition of their memorials.

This could lead to grant aid from the War Memorial Trust.

War Memorials Online also provides an opportunity for the public to help create a greater understanding of the condition of war memorials through the UK by adding information, sharing photos and uploading condition details.
