Staff at businesses in the Horsham District are being given the chance to learn more about building a healthier business at a free workshop run by the Horsham District Wellbeing Service later this month.
Horsham District Wellbeing, a free, friendly and impartial service from Horsham District Council, NHS West Sussex and other partners, is putting on a free morning workshop in Horsham on Thursday November 29 so businesses can hear about the latest science of decision making.
Advice will be given on how healthier behaviour among a workforce can improve profitability, staff retention and company image.
Horsham District Council’s cabinet member for a safer and healthier district, Sue Rogers, said: “This is a great opportunity for businesses of all sizes to understand how they can influence behaviour to boost business and how a healthy workforce can bring healthy profits.
“We are delighted to be working with social marketing experts ‘Brilliant Futures’ for this workshop and hope as many Horsham District businesses will join us.”
The workshop is being run on Thursday November 29 in Horsham town centre. Places on the workshop are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis
The funding for this project comes from NHS West Sussex, as part of the Horsham District Wellbeing Service.
