Four members of their team will also be taking part in the walk itself, raising their own funds to add further to the cause.

Founded in 1986, Assurity Consulting has grown from a two man team into an industry leading organisation, employing over 70 people, including professional scientists within their management team who have over 100 years of experience between them!

Assurity Consulting have always had a strong ethos in their Corporate Responsibility and they support a number of local charities including The Springboard Project, The Olive Tree and St Catherine’s Hospice through the involvement in charity golf days, internal fundraisers, gift in kind days and donations.

To support a charity of their choice, every employee is given a paid ‘make a difference day’ to use each year too.

To celebrate their 30th year Assurity Consulting decided to directly sponsor the Midnight Walk event.

The walk, in its 9th year, is a hugely popular local fundraiser held by the St Catherine’s Hospice who provides end-of-life care for patients in Crawley, Horsham, Mid-Sussex and East Surrey.

Taking place on the evening of Saturday July 2, walkers will complete a seven, 13 or 20 mile route through Horsham in beach themed outfits, raising money towards this year’s £80,000 goal!

“As a growing organisation we are delighted to support such a wonderful cause within our community,” said Suzanne Clarkson-Lewis, Marketing Manager, Assurity Consulting.

“ The team at St Catherine’s Hospice put a great deal of energy and effort into all of their events to make them as fun and exciting as possible for the fundraisers.

“A team from Assurity Consulting will be supporting the event on the night and marshalling, so if you are taking part in the Midnight Walk the team will be very happy to meet you, especially if you are looking for a career within a local organisation.”
