Staff at Rudridge in Horsham will be raising funds this Christmas on behalf of Arundel based children’s hospice Chestnut Tree House.

During November the team at the civil engineering and groundwork material specialists, located on Handcross Road, will be running a seasonal fundraising initiative to raise money for the charity’s ‘Get Festive for Chestnut Tree House’ campaign undertaking a range of different activities including wearing Santa hats and selling cakes.

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for Sussex and cares for 300 children and young adults with progressive life-shortening conditions. Terrina Barnes, corporate fundraiser at Chestnut Tree House, commented: “We’re delighted that Rudridge has chosen to raise funds on behalf of Chestnut Tree House. Christmas is a very special time at the hospice and we like to make the festivities as memorable as possible for the children and their families.”

John Chesson, branch manager at Rudridge Horsham, added: “We are hoping that we will be able to raise as much money as possible for an amazing charity that supports so many families in Sussex. They do a phenomenal job – we are very proud to be supporting them.”
