A note on the window of Strada read: “Restaurant closed due to no power. Sorry for any inconvenience.”

The UK Power Networks spokesperson said: “UK Power Networks engineers have restored electricity supplies to ten customers affected by a power cut in East Street, Horsham.

“A fault on the underground distribution network meant the customers lost power at 11.42am today (February 6). Our engineers worked as quickly as was safely possible and had power restored at 1.49pm.

“We appreciate how difficult it can be to lose power and would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by this incident.”
