Labour has fought off the Tories to retain control of Crawley Borough Council.

The Conservatives had the most councillors for eight years from 2006, but Labour stormed to victory in 2014.

A year later the Tories reduced Labour’s majority to just one, but tonight at the K2 Leisure Centre Labour fought off the Tory charge to keep control of the council, with 13 of 37 seats up for grabs.

Bewbush, Broadfield North, Broadfield South, Gossops Green, Ifield, Langley Green, Maidenbower, Pound Hill North, Pound Hill South and Worth, Southgate, Three Bridges, Tilgate, and West Green were all contested.
