BREAKING NEWS: Explosion in Horsham
Firefighters were called to Heath Way in Horsham after an explosion at an electrical substation tonight (Friday, July 26).
Two crews from Horsham were called just before 8.30pm after smoke was seen issuing from the substation.
A spokeswoman from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said crews responded to an ‘explosion in cable termination’.
Firefighters left the scene after 9pm.
Littlehaven residents have reported a loss in power.
The incident was handed over to UK Power Networks.
