A Sussex Police spokesman said shortly before 1pm on Thursday (July 30), police received a report of a man’s body found near Church Lane, Albourne, Hassocks.
A spokesman added: “Officers attended and the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed.”
