JOIN in the springtime fun and entertainment in Cranleigh on Saturday April 30.
There are lots of great activities going on between 10am and 4pm, so celebrate the bank holiday weekend in style.
There will be free use of the pool, soft play area, squash, gym and exercise classes (subject to availability) at Cranleigh Leisure Centre.
At Stocklund Square there will be an all day market with gifts, crafts and local produce.
Elsewhere in the village, entertainment includes music and dance performances, Punch and Judy shows and strolling street magic.
Especially for children, there will be free children’s dance workshops, junior fairground rides, a treasure hunt and fancy dress parade at the library, craft activities, face painting, junior golf taster sessions and many more activities.
This year the event is being combined with the bi-annual Community Day, organised in partnership with Cranleigh Rotary Club.
The Village Hall and Methodist Church will host information stands about the many fantastic groups, clubs, voluntary organisations and charities that local residents can get involved with.
Spring into Cranleigh is organised by the Cranleigh Initiative which brings together local councils, community groups, schools and the business community with the aim of improving Cranleigh as a place to live, work, shop and visit.
