A new bakery will be opening in Horsham next month as part of a major development in the heart of the town centre.

The Muffin Break store will open its doors in Swan Walk Shopping Centre for the first time on Friday December 4.

The cafe, which has delivered 15 jobs, is part of the major development in the shopping centre which will deliver a major fashion retailer in spring 2016.

Muffin Break Horsham franchisee, Nadeem Parvez, said: “I am really excited to open a Muffin Break in Horsham during the festive period and we can’t wait to welcome our new customers.

“There are plenty of tasty and warm items on our menu that will be perfect for busy Christmas shoppers to come in and enjoy.

“Thanks to our skilled bakers who will be making fresh products from scratch every morning, this really makes us stand out from the crowd.”

Swan Walk centre manager Gill Buchanan said: “We are absolutely thrilled that the first element of our development is about to open.

“We know how popular the return of a cafe offer in this area will be with our customers and look forward to working with our new tenant.

“Works to the new two floor fashion store are going really well and we look forward to announcing more details in early 2016. Both are significant investments in Horsham and yet more good news for the town.”

The new bakery will have a rustic yet modern interior and will seat about 75 people within both the store and in Swan Walk’s seating area.

Muffin Break in Horsham will be serving muffins, cakes, slices, cookies and scones, alongside quiches, sandwiches, soups, wraps and paninis.
