There’s magic in the air at Woods Mill nature reserve in Henfield this August.
There will be ‘Wild Woodies’ holiday clubs held in Henfield this summer.
Let your children enjoy a fun-packed outdoor activity day with Sussex Wildlife Trust.
Harry Potter fans aged from six to 11 years old can learn how to use wood working tools to whittle their own magic wand to cast spells in the forest, as well as learning to forage for magic potion ingredients.
Activities also include learning how to build a campfire and practice lighting it using a fire steel.
Once the kettle is boiled there will be hot chocolate to share around the camp fire.
Be inspired by birds and insect sounds to make a musical instrument from natural materials.
From bug hunting to bushcraft, there will be plenty to keep the children busy.
Places are available at Wild Woodies clubs on Tuesday, August 9, and Tuesday, August 16, from 9am to 4pm.
Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult as the clubs are fully supervised by our trained and experienced staff.
Booking is essential, for further information and costs.
To do so, visit www.sussexwildlifetrust.org.uk/whatson or call 01273 497561.
