Are you tough enough for Tough Mudder?

Guaranteed places are available at the Tough Mudder event in Faygate, West Sussex on September 24 and 25 for those willing to take on the challenge.

And until February 15the charity is offering half price entry at just £25.

“This is your chance to support the lifesaving and life-changing work of Meningitis Now in a fun-filled environment,” said the charity’s event organiser Rachel Oakley.

“Whether you’re an individual, company or a sports club looking for a team-building opportunity, or a group of determined mums taking on a new challenge, this is the event for you.”

Tough Mudder is an obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit. Those taking part experience exhilarating but safe world-class obstacles they wouldn’t find anywhere else.

Previous participants have given the event a ringing endorsement. “Would I recommend it? Of course. In fact, I’ve already signed up for the next one” one said.

Meningitis Now participants are asked to raise £250 in sponsorship to support the charity’s work. In return they receive a running top, training and dietary tips and help with fundraising ideas and materials.

Rachel added: “We rely on the energy and enthusiasm of our supporters to raise the funds we need each and every day to continue our vital research, awareness and support work.

“Events like this make a real difference to those who are at risk from meningitis and those whose lives have already been changed forever because of it.”
