Children’s TV star Dave Benson Phillips will once again be Race Commentator as well as helping to entertain the children. Between 10am and 3pm there will also be a Children’s giant marquee with Face Painters from Busy Days and The Little Crafters Studio will be offering a fantastic and affordable selection of messy crafts and play for children to take part in.

Charities who are participating in the Races will also be manning stalls. Freshly made pancakes will also be on sale near the racetrack.

The event is once again organised by The Rotary Club of Horsham in partnership with Horsham District Council and is aimed at raising money for local charities that are nominated by the participants.

The Main Sponsor for this year’s event is once again locally based highway maintenance Company, Ringway, who will organise the race course and signage, as well as sponsoring the Mascot Race Prizes. Sainsbury’s will be supplying the pancakes as well as sponsoring a Trophy together with Waitrose, the Non-Stop Party Shop, Rawlison Butler, South East Hearing Centres and Horsham Rotary Club.

So, bring the kids to the Carfax for a flipping jolly time.

If the weather has been poor, please check the Rotary Club of Horsham Facebook Page to ensure that the event is still on as the racing is dependent on suitable underfoot conditions.
