Tickets are available for the The Ostara Ball which will be held on March 1st at the very prestigious South Lodge Hotel in Lower Beeding.

The ball is local charity Age UK Horsham District’s flagship fundraising event and it promises to be every bit as successful as last year’s event, possibly even better!

The evening starts at 7pm with a champagne reception followed by a three course dinner, coffee and petit fours.

Marco the Magician will delight the guests with his wonderful tricks and a local band, Sound Investment, will provide superb dancing music after dinner. Carriages at 1 am

The celebrity guest this year will be Lionel Blair and Age UK Horsham District is honoured that he has agreed to attend and say a few words, particularly as he is so busy at the moment delighting viewers of Celebrity Big Brother!

Once again Rupert Toovey will be the auctioneer for the evening and there will be some exciting lots plus plenty of prizes to be won on the Tree of Delights.

Cordek have generously sponsored two gaming tables for those who like to dabble in a little gambling courtesy of Monte Carlo Nights casino and Laughing Donkey Entertainments.

RSA have supported the event for the second time this year and sponsored the flowers which are being provided by Ericas, who created some beautiful displays and table pieces for us last year. H

arwoods Ltd have kindly sponsored the chocolates for after dinner.

Barclays have generously offered 4 of their staff to help with the nights games and activities. For every pound the staff make through the fundraising on the night, Barclays will match it in order to help the charity further support local older people of Horsham District.

There are still sponsorship possibilities if any local businesses are interested in supporting us. If so please contact Lawrie Mallyon on 01403 260560/07910385926.

The money raised enables the charity to support the older people with the huge range of needs and with there now being 26,000 aged over 65 in the district, every donation can change a life.

The tickets are £75 which includes all the above and some wine with dinner.

There are only a couple of tables left so book now and don’t miss the party of the year! For your chance to have a fabulous evening, phone Deborah Johnston on 01403 240131/07809240223 or email.
