Age UK events in Horsham town to mark Bobble Day

Age Uk Horsham District are gearing up for a busy Bobble Day tomorrow (Saturday February 7) as part of our ‘Spread the Warmth’ campaign.

Age UK Horsham District branch gets ready for Bobble Day 2015 - picture submitted

There will be a street collection through-out the town with volunteers coming out in force to raise funds to support the charity’s services.

Aimee Day, Lavinia House hub manager will be with ‘Betty the Crumpet Caddy’, a sky blue refreshment caravan, serving hot chocolate and millionaire shortbreads next the Carfax bandstand.

Volunteers will be on hand giving advice and distributing stay warm packs provided by Horsham District Council and Jonathan Endersby from Groundworks will be on hand to give tariff switching advice.

Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre staff will hold Zumba class on the bandstand between 10am and 11am.

In Swan Walk Shopping Centre, craftsmen and women from across the area will be in a pop-up shop next to the Body Shop helping raise money for the cause.
